Naturally Raised and Sustainable
Bison ranchers are committed to raising their animals naturally. The National Bison Association's code of ethics prohibits the feeding of sub-therapeutic antibiotics to bison. Also, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) DOES NOT allow growth hormones or steroids to be administered to bison.
Naturally rasied bison interact with the environment today as Mother Nature intended. Their movement across the land promotes healthy ecosystems, and produces delicious, nutritient-dense meat.
Healthy and Delicious
Bison is naturally flavorful, tender and can be used in any red-meat recipe. The meat is a nutrient dense food because of the proportion of protein, fat, minerals and fatty acids to its caloric value. It is lower in fat and cholesterol than beef, chicken and even salmon. Bison meat is higher in protein, iron and Vitamin B-12 than beef.
